Mothers Day 2010

It was a quiet Mothers Day this year with DH away on business until late Sunday evening and a sick little one. I kept vigil over my littlest one (6yo) until her fever broke at about 4am on Sunday morning. A friend and I had planned a Mothers Day workout followed by breakfast but I stayed in bed with my baby girl until past eleven. Managed to make it to our Mothers Day service in the afternoon but left my little one at home to rest. She was so sad to miss Sunday school and made a lovely card for Miss Kelly apologizing for her absence. The children and teachers were so thoughtful to make her a Get Well card. She still had a very slight fever when I got home but I thought a short walk for some fresh air might do her some good. With the older children still at church it was a nice time by ourselves. A quiet Mothers Day but a blessed one.
